It’s about time, isn’t it?! It's about time that we come together as a Boston community, whether it's to reunite or to meet for the first time, to worship God with the Brotherhood of Hope once again.
Since graduating, we have all gone off in unique directions and we have lived the faith in different ways. Let's be honest though, living the authentic Catholic life can sometimes be a little...challenging. Keeping the faith in our personal lives and within our home communities can be tough. That is why this retreat is about more than reuniting, it’s about rejuvenation too. The Brothers showed us what it means to experienc
e the joy of Christ while we were in college. Now they are inviting us to come together to experience that joy of community again, to be filled with the Holy Spirit, and to feel a little more equipped to bring that joy to others.
Ultimately, we are never alone in our journey with Christ. We are all part of the universal church no matter where we are because we are connected in the Eucharist. Let this weekend be a reminder of that. Let us come together to be filled up with joy, love, and inspiration to go out and be the disciples we’re called to be.
As this is a Brotherhood Alumni Retreat, it is specifically for alumni who were on a Boston campus during the time of the Brotherhood’s ministry.
We also will be welcoming spouses and children, as well as fiancé(e)s. Spouses and children will be arranged to room together; all others will be assigned roommates in male or female sections. There are 100 available spots on the retreat, so be sure to register as soon as you can! For the month of March, we will hold 50 spots each for both the NU/HUB alumni and BU alumni, respectively. We will keep a waiting list for anyone that exceeds the 50 count. On Wednesday, April 1st, we will open up any remaining spots and they will go first to those on the wait list, in the order in which they signed up.
