Our Brothers take a vow of poverty and receive no personal income. Your support goes directly toward the life of the Brothers and the missions that our life fuels.
When we started, many Brothers worked secular jobs. Today they all serve in ministry. There is no "Plan B" when it comes to their finances.
We are growing at a time when the institutional Church is declining. In 2018 our diocesan partners funded 60% of our operating expenses; today they fund 40%.
Our campus outreaches and other ministries have separate budgets, usually run by a parish or diocese. The Brotherhood trains and provides the Brothers who are available to work in those missions sacrificially - or for no compensation at all.
More than half of our budget is what we call "household" expenses. It probably looks a lot like your household budget - except with more than two dozen guys living in five houses.
The remaining share of our budget covers training new Brothers, running the Brotherhood, ministry activities and mission advancement.
In other words our budget resembles that of a family and a nonprofit rolled into one.
Thank you for your interest in our finances and for your support. If you have any questions, contact Zachary Janowski, director of mission advancement.
