A letter from Br. Ken Apuzzo, our General Superior:
Dear friends,
In every age men have banded together as brothers to fight for a worthy cause. In our time, Jesus calls men together—just as he did his 12 apostles—and commissions them to bring his saving love and his Church's life to all who are lost. The Brotherhood of Hope is one such "band of brothers." We are Catholic religious brothers, called by Jesus to live simply, pray passionately, and go out together everyday to bring Hope to our world.
Many people, when they first meet us, are skeptical that we really believe God alone is enough for us. But we hope that as you get to know us, you'll be inspired by the warmth of our life and mission. Of course, you'll also see our weaknesses—and you'll see that these weaknesses help us to depend on Jesus only more.
And we also depend on you! Please, please pray for us. Our mission to college-aged youth is vital for the future of the Church and our society. We have witnessed countless lives rescued by the love and mercy of Christ, but our work is far from over. If you recognize the potential for our "band of brothers" to transform lives through Jesus Christ, then please consider a way that you can support our life and mission. Thank you!
In Jesus our Hope,
—Br. Ken
