And Revelation 15:3 says:Great and wonderful are your works, Lord God Almighty!
Just and true are your ways, O King of the nations.
Who will not fear you Lord, or glorify your name?
For you alone are Holy.
All nations will come and worship before you.
For your righteous acts had been revealed.
This led me to reflect on the song of Moses, which in Exodus 15 says this:This is the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb.
And these two passages act, in some ways, as the bookends of salvation history; from the beginning, God freeing his people from pharaoh's bondage and leading them through the Red Sea, and at the end, when Jesus will come again in glory.I will sing to the Lord, for he is gloriously triumphant.
Horse and chariot he has cast into the sea.
My strength and my courage is the Lord, and he has been my savior.
He is my God, I praise him; the God of my father, I extol him.
The Lord is a warrior, Lord is his name.
Pharaoh's chariots and army he hurled into the sea.
