Full-time, virtual office, Starting July 2022

Blaze the way for this generation to renew the Church as part of the team that supports a growing community of Catholic Brothers working on five campuses in four states. As our mission impact has increased, our team has grown from one to five and nearly tripled the amount raised in the last three years. We need a team member who can write grant applications and manage relationships with foundations.

We are looking for:

• Commitment to the New Evangelization, especially our work on secular college campuses
• A strong writer - we expect you to write 30-35 grant applications each year. If you don't like writing and feel comfortable doing it, this job isn't for you!
• Independence - this job is virtual office with flexible hours. We're looking for someone mature enough to get the work done.
• Organization - follow our grants calendar, keep it up to date, make sure deadlines don't slip
• Team player - we all work from home, but we're still a team. You'll support other team members as needed.
• Relationships - Make connections with foundations through their staff and board members

Pay rate: $40,000 to $50,000 depending on experience, flexible work schedule and virtual office, training opportunities

A day in the life: After a 30 minute call with a teammate you dive into a grant application due later this month. You spend a few hours collecting answers to the questions on the application and refining the pitch to support another Brother on a large secular college campus. Then you break for lunch and send off a follow up report to a foundation that funded us last year and hopefully will again this year. After that you draft a letter introducing a new foundation to the Brotherhood of Hope. You finish the day by researching a few foundations, checking for connections with our board members and planning the next day's applications.
