Transforming a Soul, a Campus, and a City

In the two years since the Brothers arrived in Tampa, the ministry at the University of South Florida (USF) has already grown dramatically.

Ana Sanchez, who has worked on the ministry staff since before the Brothers arrived, said the addition of just a few Brothers had an exponential impact. “Their presence is visible. It feels like they are everywhere. They take every opportunity to be on campus and integrate into campus life.”

Miggy Sumagang was a junior when the Brothers arrived. As a student leader, he met regularly with Br. Ray. Miggy said that the “main impact of the arrival of the Brothers has been an increase in evangelization through empowering students.” He said students are now prepared to “transform a soul, a campus, and the city.” Now graduated, Miggy says he feels equipped to “show the love of Christ through relational evangelization, which the Brothers have instilled in me.”
